I have grown tired of gaming as of recently. I still love the hobby but I have been finding it difficult to find things to enjoy playing. Nothing seems to hit the same as the old days, or heavily draw my attention. Today i’ll like to discuss my issues currently with gaming and how 2020 isn’t shaping up to be what i thought it’d be.

I have played Minecraft since 1.11
That said
I have never slayed the ender dragon
Life is strange music is god tier
Dark souls series stole my gaming soul. Nothing is fun anymore. I'll turn on an old game thinking I'm gonna play it but 15 min later I'm just bored
The last.of us 2 is amazing this game is better than part 1 in every single way there is no comparison this is a must have dont listen or let haters mess up the amazing experience and beautiful game love it
Great vid dude
What’s your method to not lose interest in some games when your nearly at 100% trophies but the game your on gets abit tedious after 40-50 hours of play?
ya'll need a myriad of hobbies, doing that same 1 thing over & over will get tiring..
I went through pretty bad gaming fatigue a few years back. Went through exactly what you described. I would try many games and just couldn’t get into them. Took a total break for a little over a year and that seemed to do the trick.
:/
Gaming fatigue comes normally with adulthood. If by age 30 you're still an avid gamer you're almost certainly an idiot.
Not for me actually. I’m still playing “Star Wars Battlefront 2” since day one of getting the Hard Copy and there’s plenty of Multiplayer action in that. I own so many game titles both on Disc and Digital Copies on my PlayStation 4 that I haven’t even played through all of them yet…. One series which I’m currently going through as a fun challenging Adventure is actually the entire “Kingdom Hearts Remastered Trilogy” that I’ve owned for a long while but kept pushing back on playing due to my love for titles which are more Action Packed stuff etc. “Tomb Raider Trilogy” , “Uncharted Collection” , “Last Of Us Part.1” and other games that have really interesting stories and are unique such as Story-Driven Titles that I’ve come across in the PS Store like “Nightmares Of The Deep Trilogy” , “Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture” , “The Quiet Man” and “Agatha Christie’s The ABC Murders” just to name a few .
Right now, besides “Star Wars Battlefront 2” , I am actually enjoying “Kingdom Hearts Remastered Trilogy” even though I’m not a ‘Final Fantasy Fan’ I love the ‘Disney Characters’ that are in it and it’s a good series to pass some time with each day especially right now during Global Lockdowns because of you know what.
PLAY DAYS GONE
I enjoyed the hype for RDR2. I'm happy to say that my expectations for that game were met. 😊
I had it from november last yr to February this year but after a while it helped me to play something id not toutched in a while which for me was red dead 2
Yup TLOU II has ruined my enjoyment of all other games. the Delay hasnt helped. Literally in the same boat as you
I sold my ps4 pro because of the last of us delay. I will play the updated version on ps5. Having said that I had a gaming burn out or at least I thought so until I played ori in the blind forest. I was hooked and played from beginning to end. I guess i was fatigued playing the same type of games. If someone mentions assassins creed or farcry I will vomit. I've grown out of multiplayer as it does nothing intellectually for me.
The Last of Us killed gaming.
heeey…you have life is strange music in the background… :'))
If you haven't already, play Witcher 3
I feel ya man. The Last of Us Part II was the only game to keep me going through the quarantine. Now I'm struggling with a choice of spending €70 on Final Fantasy VII remake or not
I feel the exact same thing Tajae
You really know how to have an impact on my feelings by adding Life is Strange theme in the begining 😁
I've been constantly looking for games to buy looking at the same damn sale, dont see anything I like. I got the witcher 3 but idk i cant seem to get into anything.
I'm just waiting for the last of us part 2😭😭. These days I don't want to play anything
I'm 40 years old. My earliest gaming experience was the Coleco. I've been playing games since, including every console you can name, being dropped off at the arcade, playing the original Doom over a 56k dial-up connection, having LAN parties, being a member of guilds for Quake II/Unreal Tournament, putting hundreds of in-game days into Everquest and World of Warcraft…
I don't have that kind of time anymore. I may play 3 or 4 games a year now, all single player, and usually at least a year+ after release. If it doesn't have a strong narrative, I don't bother. Point is… people change, priorities change, what once interested you no longer does. And on the other hand, this year has been a mess. Losing sight of a few things that were once important is totally normal right now.
I wonder how many streamers experience burn out the way so many people with traditional jobs do?
Tajae this was good
EXCUSE ME battle royal first originated with mc hunger games
I'll finish up Doom Eternal this weekend!!
I jumped back on spiderman ps4 an had a blast!!!
I hope I will never be tired of games.. I have the "ability" to play my favourite games a million times. But I can't stick to play only multiplayer games, I'm not interested in these, if they don't have a story… But now I'm sad because I just finished a game that I didn't know the story about and when it ended, I got post game depression…
