I'm surprised cause I always thought having freesync on was the best option, I never actually tried using this setting. I'll give it a go

You need to test with game motion off to get 13ms. I would like to see BFI On and game motion both set to 0. You will need to buy input lag testing device to get accurate results.

If I have game morion plus turned on with judder and blur both at 10, and also have freesync set to ultimate, will the input lag be really bad? My games look amazing but i felt like there was a small delay when I would move a character

I will never go back to no motion interpolation. 60 fps is just neat compared to 30 fps 🙂 Thank you so much Joelstar, you earned a sub

Does this give more latency to the controller when gaming? And could the 4k tv also do 1080p and if so does it look good? If you dont mind me asking

Is my TV locked at 60 fps ( my TV has 120hz) when playing playstation if i didn't turn this on ? Or the fps automatically go up to more than 60 fps ( depending on console or games ) even if this is turned off ?

U r correct. But the best game for testing is gta v. It the most choppy game for console. Motion interp kills all of that. Just open your phone select a car dealership and scroll up and down while adjusting your settings.

OK so judder essentially represents 60 FPS and blur reduction represents 120 FPS. And you have to have both judder and blur reduction set to 10 for this 120 FPS effect. So what would happens in a game if I turned judder to zero in blur reduction all the way to 10? I wish Samsung actually explained these two options in depth. Also, if does add ghosting in some cases. I haven’t found a game where I actually use these two options because of that and the input lag.

I'm playing Red Dead Redemption II on my xbox one x. I have a Samsung Q70R and I can honestly tell you I wish I knew all if this before getting a tv. I read that my tv has 120 hz game mode but let me tell you the ghosting/blurry feel when spinning the camera is irritating. I wish I would have saved that $1000 for an actual gaming tv even though this is supposed to be a good 4k gaming tv…doesn't seem like it to me.

Thanks for the advice. I thought ratings.com described the two sliders (judder, blur) working the opposite of what you said either. Either way I’ve found the feature very effective on some games and not at all on others, maybe I’ve been using the sliders backwards.

Thanks for the review!
Please tell me how to make this function work when connecting a PC to a TV?
I tried, but for some reason it does not work. Works fine on my xbox! Maybe I need to limit FPS to 30 on my PC as on consoles?

Regretting buying this tv the motion is terrible on it even out side of game mode you get weird visual defect on the outline of things when panning from left to right what's the point in having a better picture and graphics with crap motion and this is all on the ps4 pro, do you get these weird motion defects on the xbox one x

I have the NU8000 and when Game Mode is on I think that fast panning still look stuttery. Objects on the screen are always very nice and smooth, but panning looks a bit stuttery. Has anyone had the same experience?

This kind of technology allows me to enjoy high fps gaming with Final Fantasy xv. (as my rig is a medium (fair level) rig pc [specs: i7-3770 gtx 1050 ti and 16 gb of ram). Final Fantasy xv is a visually appealing game, albeit very demanding on pc. And The highest it can game (on medium settings with Anti aliasing set to max, and texture resolution set to medium) with this setup is at 46 fps on 1080p, and sometimes frame drops to 29 fps, but because of this amazing technology, I can play the game at double the frame rate the rig outputs the game at on tv, and this is thanks to the technology. Frame drops look very smooth because a 29 fps frame drop (rendered on the tv) looks like 58 fps .. And even with this motion interpolation feature on, input lag remains fairly low. Really impressed with this technology. Low fps gets doubled because of this technology. Yea yea, I know some say blurring does occur, but if you mess enough with the settings there's a way to reduce blurring. Really really impressed with this technology. (New edit:::) Input lag is lower on better tvs
