2019 here ….I’m looking to see if anyone can help me find a NES game. It was a red oval shaped spaceship and you would get some sort of blue circling balls that would be your shield. And you would be in some sort of alien caverns.

If they would re-release most of these physically on the Nintendo Switch, on current cartridges, with these covers, I would still buy them. Plus the NS cases already come in the right aspect ratio. That KOF '95 cover has to be fake though. I really doubt there was a port for that 32 bit Neo-Geo game.

Excellent, Gemma! I remember playing some Nintendo games back in the 80s & 90s such as Batman: The Video Game, Afterburner, Captain Skyhawk (I think), Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers (didn't beat it,but played the crap out of it), TMNT, Tetris, Wayne Gretzky Hockey & several more. One more thing, sweet music as well!

There is definitely quite some variation in the quality of the cover art for NES games. Some quite good ones and also some quite bad ones.
I suppose the same can be said about the Famicom titles, but I tend to like them more, so have pretty much switched over to collecting the Japanese titles now.
It really is amazing how many titles came out for the NES, and at how the machine could be expanded via additions in the cartridges.
I have just sent off the final version of my new game for the system, so there will be one more very soon 🙂

I can only bow to your exceptional devotion to your craft! On a side note, I just heard that the Wii U is being discontinued – it really had a fairly small life at just over 3 years. The NES is always seen as a 1980s console but there's a striking amount of titles from the early 1990s in this vid as well. What amazing longevity this little console had – I want one!

cool video. looks like you nailed it on getting every nes game cover. this video will have a good purpose for those who need to reference their gaming catalog. you even added the fuckin nes cleaning kit in this video, which isn't exactly a game, but well worth pointing it out. lol. there's even games on this list that I have never heard of, and I grew up in the 80's. lol. thanks for making this video, enjoyed watching.

Don't you wish you had bought some of them a few years ago before it became as it is now. I have hardly anything on nes despite it being my first machine. Just always think I will get round to it but way prices are going not so sure I will get many. I had minty boxed pal collection back in day that traded in. Probotector, batman, mario 3 were prob fav games on it I owned. Double dragon I mind playing in two player and loving too. Snake rattle and roll..duck tales. Friend had that and I loved it and borrowed it many time lol
